The quick access toolbar is a shortcut to the most frequently used commands in Word, and you can modify it to ensure that it contains the options that you really need to access easily. Use the toolbar on the upper left side of the Word document window to save your file, cancel the last command, and quickly activate other useful options. Open the menu on the right to easily add more common commands, or simply double-click More Commands to see a huge list of buttons that can be added.

Find your favorite commands, pick them, click Add, and then click OK.
