Removing an unwanted account in Outlook
An Outlook file located on your computer usually has the extension .PST. To remove an unwanted account, right-click it and select Close Outlook Data File.
Find out where the data file is located by going to File – Account Settings and clicking the Data Files tab.
Those files with the extension .OST are usually offline files and are typically related to hosted email like Gmail or Exchange.
