Counting of words in Microsoft Word
You can easily get a word count in Microsoft Word. At the bottom left of the screen you can see the total number of words.
This changes live as you type. You can click on this total to view other statistics such as the number of letters, paragraphs and lines.
If you select a block of text, only the statistics for that block are displayed. This way you can also access a detailed view.
